Design Brief
Redevelop a cohesive packaging set for the Korean-French bakery, Tous Les Jour. I designed an updated visual identity that reflects the existing brand that includes a pastry bag, macaron box, coffee cup sleeve, and a tray paper design.

Development
Starting off, I researched existing designs for bakeries to get a sense of what style I wanted to go towards. I wanted a whimsical but delightful art style for the elements and used watercolor as my medium.
To help aide my process, I used word association to list everything that is associated to Tous Les Jour. Alongside this, I started to sketch rough designs of my macaron box and bag design. After ideating what elements to paint, I roughly laid out a pattern for use.
Then, I drew small icons of the baked pastries and watercolored painting the drawings. I also made some washes to create a simple background for the macaron box. Then I photographed each painting and scanned them into photoshop and played around with the layout and placement of elements in the bag die-line. At a miniature scale, I printed these mockups and assembled the bags and chose the design I liked the best.
I also designed elements for the macaron box, tray, and coffee cup sleeve. The patterned elements cohesively ties in the entire visual identity from one application to the other.
